78 rpm records
We have a large selection of 78s, including single-sided classical discs from the earliest period of recorded music and routines by music hall comedians, to jazz and 1950s pop. If you have an old gramophone or record player that can play 78s but have few or no records to play on it, we can make up an album of 10 or more records to order. Here are some suggestions:
- 1930s-1940s dance bands (e.g. Glenn Miller)
- 1950s pop (e.g. Johnnie Ray, Frankie Laine, Doris Day, Bill Haley, Jo Stafford, Alma Cogan)
- Traditional jazz (Humphrey Lyttleton etc)
- Bing Crosby
- Various genres.
Subject to availability, we can also make up albums of 78s of your choice to order. All albums of 78rpm records are priced according to the quantity and type of records they contain - email us for further details.

At the time of writing these range from saucy music hall ballads to 1930s and 1940s dance bands, and from songs from movies and musicals to jazz piano scores. You can buy these mounted and ready for framing, or just as they are, to play and sing along to. Come into the shop and have a browse.
